Scope and intended use

ENFLOW provides the public website and JAPAN DESK from Japan. The founding JAPAN DESK offer is for business and professional projects. Public ENFLOW content is general information for planning and learning.

Request acceptance and written scope

Sending a request does not require ENFLOW to accept it. If the request is a fit, ENFLOW will confirm the question, included work, exclusions, fee and delivery target in writing. That accepted written scope controls if it differs from the public service summary.

Fees, invoice and start of work

The founding fee is $99 USD for the first five accepted projects unless the accepted written scope states otherwise. ENFLOW sends a PayPal invoice after scope acceptance. Work begins after payment is confirmed. Applicable tax, if any, will be shown before payment.

Delivery and outcomes

The fee pays for the agreed research, enquiry and reporting work. It does not buy or guarantee a third-party reply, introduction, access, commercial result, source availability or a particular conclusion. If a third party has not replied by the delivery date, the report will state the attempts and current response status.

Cancellations and refunds

The requester may cancel for a full refund before ENFLOW confirms that work has started. After that confirmation, the fee is not refundable merely because a third party does not reply or the findings differ from the requester's expectation. If ENFLOW cannot complete the agreed work, it will refund the part of the fee attributable to work it cannot deliver. The accepted written scope may set a different cancellation rule where necessary.

Excluded activities

Unless separately agreed within a lawful and clearly authorized scope, JAPAN DESK does not book, purchase, issue tickets, handle client funds, sign, accept terms, place orders, conclude or negotiate contracts, collect debts, handle disputes, conduct bulk outreach, or provide legal, tax, financial, immigration, medical or other regulated professional advice.

Third-party contact and confidentiality

ENFLOW will use the request only to assess and perform the agreed work and will not publish the request or report without permission. Where external enquiry is included, ENFLOW may share the minimum context reasonably needed to ask the question and will identify itself as an independent Japan-side desk. The requester must tell ENFLOW before payment if any information cannot be shared externally.

Requester responsibilities

The requester must provide accurate instructions, have the right to share supplied information, and use the report lawfully. Requests must not include payment credentials, passport details, medical records or other sensitive personal data unless ENFLOW has expressly agreed in writing to an appropriate handling method.

Public information and changing facts

ENFLOW checks sources in good faith, but laws, policies, prices, schedules, availability and third-party statements can change. The source check date and known limitations should be considered, and live official information controls where it has changed. Public content and JAPAN DESK reports are not a substitute for regulated professional advice.

Bookings and purchases

Any booking or purchase is made directly by the requester with the third-party provider under that provider's terms. ENFLOW does not issue tickets, process the provider's payment, control inventory or guarantee the provider's service.

Original ENFLOW and ENFLOW JAPAN text, design, and artwork may not be republished as a competing guide without permission. Brief quotation with clear attribution and a link is welcome where permitted by law.

Governing terms

Japanese law governs these terms unless the accepted written scope states otherwise. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a disagreement through written discussion.
